Stable Talk
January 2006
As we ring in the New Year, we are
busy trying to
withstand the winter elements and many of us are already counting the
days
until spring! After nearly 30 years in
the horse business, 2006 brings Hollyhurst Farm’s 10 Year Anniversary
in the Carlisle,
PA location!! Looking back on 2005, we
would like to congratulate Betsy and all of the Hollyhurst riders on
quite a
successful year! From the Walk-Trot
riders to the Adult Hunters, Hollyhurst achieved many year-end awards
for the
2005 show season. Congratulations
everyone!!

Meg,
you
worked hard, achieved your goals, and we
are all so proud of you!!
As
we look forward to 2006, we wish everyone a rewarding horse show year
as we all
continue to work hard and, most importantly, have fun!
As the New
Year begins,
we would like to take this opportunity to congratulate Dawn on the
purchase of
“Hogan” and to welcome Olivia’s new pony, “Tink”, to the barn! We wish you both the very best!
I would like
to close
this entry with a personal note of sincere “Thanks” to all of my
friends at
Hollyhurst Farm. Without the support of
the Hollyhurst family, along with my husband and children, I would not
have
been able to achieve my goals this year … Debra,
shoveling out mountains of manure to have my stall
ready at Zones
– Emily, waking up at 3:00 am, just because she wanted to help –
Elizabeth,
loading and hauling in the pouring down rain, unloading, setting up,
grooming,
supporting, and on and on - Ryan, just knowing exactly what to do –
Jeanine,
watching over Duke while I watched the rest of the Division – Dani
& Chris,
always being there for me – and Meg, sharing the entire experience with
me!
Betsy, you
always offer
your patience, guidance, expertise, professionalism, and integrity. You enable us all to succeed while always
remembering that we can achieve our goals while having fun ~ enjoying
our hobby
~ loving our horses. As you celebrate 10
years at Hollyhurst Farm’s new location, we wish you and Max the very
best, and
look forward to many, many, more years with you!
Patti
