Rock & Pole Clinic at Hollyhurst Farm, LLC

Sunday October 18, 2026
We create unique sets of patterns that you will navigate to help improve your Horses Rhythm. Pole Work encourages your Horse to lower his head and neck and use his back. You may do pole work at a walk, trot or canter. You determine your pace so that you and your horse are comfortable. These various patterns will help improve balance, coordination and flexibility. Some of the benefits are as follows:
-
Range of motion: Develops suppleness, elasticity, and range of motion of your horse's limbs and joints
-
Balance and technique: Helps your horse develop proper balance and the use of both his forelimbs and hind limbs. It will also help improve your balance and validate the importance of accuracy.
-
Strength: Strengthens your horse's back, hindquarters, and topline and is useful for rehabilitation following an injury.
-
Flexibility: Increases bend and flexibility through your horse's body. Improves Suppleness.
-
Coordination: Improves rhythm and coordination in both you and your horse. Pole work will help you develop "Feel" and it is a Great Tool to help you develop an "Eye for a Stride."
